• We participated in a development project pursued by a joint venture consisting of Mitsui Fudosan and multiple external investors.
• We supported the commercialization by setting up a special purpose company, providing asset management services during the project term, and arranging asset financing (procurement of funds through a non-recourse loan) for the development project.
• After successful negotiations and discussions with investors and lenders concerning pandemic-induced concerns including the risk of opening the facility and of development delays, we arranged debt financing and procured funds at a favorable interest spread.
