The real estate business in Japan has undergone dramatic changes since the
latter half of the 1980s. During this period, conventional standards of real
estate property valuation were turned around completely. Mitsui Fudosan Investment
Advisors, Inc. (hereinafter, “the Company”) was quick to foresee the imminent
birth of a new real estate investment market, and in 1997 the Company was established
as one of Japan’s first dedicated real estate investment advisory firms.
